The Coastal Observer App is a mobile training and knowledge resource tool that supports field staff and assistants to effectively implement standardized protocols for coastal monitoring initiatives.
Intuitive map tools and easy to follow instructional videos assist in mastering different survey methods, protocols, and safety tasks.This app was developed by The Nature Trust of British Columbia as part of the “Sustaining Fish and Fish Habitat in a Changing Climate” project, a five year initiative to better understand and manage the physical and biological processes of 15 representative estuaries along the BC coast.
